Sunset Elixir Can Designs are a concept project that started with the prompt:

“We are a Mexican based company that makes and distributes Mexican themed soda. You must create three label designs. Our company’s brand colors are tan and yellow. We want our packaging to look refreshing while also conveying a vintage theme.”

To accomplish the look of this design I started with the fruit front and center. The fruit helps carry the refreshing feeling to the consumer. The Otomi floral pattern used gives the design some texture and pays homage to the Mexican roots while also carrying across the vintage feel of something homemade and mature.
